EXCLUSIVE!

Just to get the ball rolling, here are some concepts, themes and ideas you might want to take on:

Inner Sanctuary
Altar boys tell all - the money, the power, the fashion statement.

Convent Capers
A former teacher's pet reveals that those nuns really let their hair down after 3 PM.  Get ready to laugh!

Eraser Clappers Catholic Chant
The actual birth of the blues.  A little-known story of the new rhythm that was to shake the music world to its very foundations

Confessors Come Clean
Poll findings on how many Catholic school kids 'fessed to sins they didn't commit.  Did they do it to keep the guy in the box awake?  Or was it because they couldn't bear the thought that they had nothing interesting to report (week after week after week)?

Impure Thoughts
A dissertation on this fascinating subject.  Is there really any chance that you could have just one or two or three of these corrupting thoughts in-between confessions?  And how do you count them?  Does a 1/2 hour reverie count as one long thought or 60 smaller ones?

Oh Pen, I Knew Thee Inkwell
Bring back this appropriate technology.  The straight pen was simple, efficient, and loads of fun.

penmanship

Knickers Forever!
The anonymous, poignant lament of a boy who thought knee pants were cool but, when he should have, could not muster the courage to speak out on their behalf.

Dance Shorty, Dance
The show must go on.  Pint-sized hoofer in the front rank of the chorus line is ordered by weird nun to dance with thin air when his partner doesn't show.  How this effects his evolving spiritual thinking visa-vi the infallibility of the pope.  A true story!

There you have it: a really fecund (Is that a bad word?) passel of swell thought-provoking outlines just waiting for you to breathe life into them.  So, let's get started already

Seriously, folks - you are invited to write about whatever part of the school, or church, or neighborhood experience that you want to share with the rest of us.

SPB coffee mug Sister Mary Robusta says, "Stand up straight and let them know you went to St. Pascal Baylon! Wear those St. Pascal Classmate hats and shirts with PRIDE. And don't slouch while drinking from that swell SPB mug"!
