An innovative artist, Carol Funke works in several mediums: handmade paper (fiber art), watercolor, pen and ink, greeting card design, and wedding invitations. Also books, wall pockets, bowls, and the “Maidens”
- dolls formed out of handmade paper.
Carol is a member of the Arkansas Arts in Education Roster and the Arkansas Arts on Tour Roster. She has earned several National Awards and State Awards in watercolor and handmade paper such
as: Baber Award, Helen Frater Award, Strathmore Award, Best of Shows, and The Artists Magazine Honors.
Carol states that her artwork is “one of a kind” and is designed either to match her client’s decor or one of her own creations, hence the name ‘FUNKE ORIGINALS’.
